伝統行事。

昨日は地元のファイアーフェスティバルに行ってきました。

開催されるのは北部のほうだけらしく、ガーナのいわゆる伝統宗教に乗っ取った行事だそう。

歌とダンス。　そして炎の揺らめき。　とてもアフリカらしい行事に参加できたと思います。

元々のいわれを聞いたところ、見失った子供を探す為に、松明を灯したことを表しているのだとか。

この日は、ホストファミリーの家に何時に始まるのか聞きに行ったら、「８時前後からだから、それまで、ウチで休んでなさい。ついでにご飯も食べて来なさい！！」

と飯（バンクー）まで食わせてもらえました。ついでに子供達に祭りも連れてってもらって「危ないからこっちに来な」とか誘導までしてもらいました。

本当に、一つだけ言えることは、ホストファミリーにはめちゃくちゃ恵まれたと思います。ありがとう。

活動に関しては、特に書くことがないくらい暇です・・・・涙

I joined fire festival in my living area last night.

I heard this festival is opened in only northern three region and comes from traditional religion.

Everyone danced, sing song and fire was moving with that sounds.

I felt this was the Africa from this festival!!

I heard why this festival started and this festival is expressed a story that people had used torch to look for lost child.

When I went to host family house to ask about start time, my host family said ‘ festival will start around 8pm. You should rest and eat dinner here until then’ with dinner( banku)

In addition that, host children took me festival and sometime warned me, like‘ don’t go there, Its not safe for fire’

One thing that I can say since ever I came here is my host family is wonderful! I'm grateful of you and love!!
